Brandable does not mean random.
A good brandable domain is easy to say, easy to spell, visually clean, and flexible enough for a real product or business. A weak brandable is just a pronounceable string with no buyer category and no memorable shape.
Useful signals include:
- short length,
- clean phonetics,
- no forced digits or hyphens,
- no reputation-risk wording,
- a plausible category or emotional tone,
- a TLD that fits the use case.
NameNotifier's DQS has become stricter about this. Pronounceable invented names can be worth reviewing, but they should not outrank clear commercial names without stronger evidence.
