A domain can enter an expired-domain workflow and then disappear. That is normal.
The owner might restore it. A registrar might renew it. A drop-catcher might win it. DNS may start resolving again. RDAP may show an active registration.
When that happens, keeping the domain in a public drops feed is harmful. It wastes buyer attention and creates stale alerts.
NameNotifier hides renewed or registered-again rows when evidence crosses the safety threshold. We keep the historical dossier, but the public opportunity feed is reserved for names that still deserve action.
